Education

• degree in law, at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Białystok, 1993-1998
• legal counsel training at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw, 2004-2008

Work experience

Piotr Łupiński specializes in real estate law. For almost twenty years he has been advising entrepreneurs on the acquisition, sale and development of real estate, including participating in administrative and court proceedings related to real estate transactions and the investment process. He is well experienced in matters concerning the protection of industrial property rights and counteracting unfair competition.

In his career to date, Piotr has also developed substantial expertise in:

• handling legal processes related to the privatization of state-owned enterprises, including preparation and participation in negotiations of sales contracts and social packages as well as other side agreements
• preparation and negotiation of trade agreements related to investment activities and joint ventures
• litigation, including arbitration disputes related to running a business
• criminal and administrative proceedings regarding infringement of intellectual property rights and offenses against economic turnover
• dispute resolution in the field of labor law
• protection of intellectual property rights, analysis, preparation and participation in negotiation of documents related to intellectual property rights (trademarks, patents, rationalization projects, copyright)
• law of new technologies, in particular legal aspects of the Internet commerce, including protection of intellectual property rights in the Internet, analysis and preparation of documents related to the use of the IT solutions
• legal aspects of green field operations, including preparation and negotiation of purchase contracts, participation in administrative proceedings related to construction process and participation in preparation and negotiation of contracts on construction works (including the ones based on the FIDIC model)

Piotr Łupiński previously worked with the law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel (1998-2009), and since 2008 he has been operating as part of the Łupińska & Łupiński Legal Advisers, transformed in 2014 into LLRP Łupińscy & Partners Law Firm.
